As Trendi’s HR Coordinator, your mission to drive powerful and positive global change whilst challenging the traditional, 9-5 corporate work style. You are seeking an innovative growth opportunity that leverages your experience and expertise in HR, recruitment, and learning & development. A Day in the Life
- Strategically partner with Trendi’s Grants Team to optimize grant funding opportunities, help with the grant application process, and join forces with students passionate about food waste.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment by drafting captivating job ads, finding talent excited about eliminating food waste, conducting interview screenings, and coordinating interviews with the Trendi team.
- Deliver an onboarding experience that sets all Trendi misfits up for success by coordinating development opportunities, crafting onboarding packages, and facilitating orientations.
- Proactively maintain personnel-related data (I.e., personal information, payroll, leaves or etc.) in BambooHR by ensuring everything is up to date and satisfies all employment requirements.
- Leverage your HR expertise to provide assistance, help with ad-hoc HR projects, and provide HR solutions to the Trendi Team on internal and external inquiries and requests.
- Collaborate with Trendi’s departments (I.e., payroll, benefits, management) and produce regular reports to successfully administer HR functions.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-2 years of experience owning your role as an HR Coordinator in a mission-driven, start-up organization.
- Proven knowledge and application of human resources processes and procedures to foster strategic, compliant, and legally sound HR functions.
- Familiarity with creative sourcing techniques, recruiting platforms and targeted recruiting practices to find the talent needed to drive Trendi’s mission.
- Technically versed in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), BambooHR, Calendly, Monday.com, or ToDoist.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to successfully prioritize competing priorities and thrive in fast-paced, performance-driven work environments.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and own client relationships.
- Confident leader and strategic contributor that drives innovative change and champions an inspiring and enthusiastic organizational culture.
Nice to Haves
- Possessing your CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Educational background in Human Resources or Human Resources Management from an accredited post-secondary institution is considered an asset.
