Background/Qualifications:
- Valid LPN licensing in good standing, with a knack for exceptional leadership skills.
- Fluent in English with top-notch written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel, because let’s face it, we all need those tech skills to thrive.
- Previous experience in a union setting, because we value diverse experiences and perspectives.
- Extra points for those who’ve spent 2 or more years working with seniors and share our passion for resident-focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into our Quality Improvement (QI) program, because we’re all about continuous improvement and excellence.
- Assess the health and wellness needs of our awesome residents, and collaborate with the right departments and our amazing General Manager for optimal solutions.
- Keep those resident files shipshape, ensuring all necessary documentation and medication administration processes are in place for smooth sailing.
- Work within legislative guidelines to promote resident independence and ensure their well-being.
- Be a superhero in recruitment, nurturing our team and ensuring top-notch service standards are always met.
- Keep the department in tip-top financial shape, with a keen eye on budgeting and revenue initiatives. You’re the finance guru we need!
- Be the safety czar, ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed to a tee. We take safety seriously, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun doing it!
- Champion policies and procedures, always on the lookout for ways to improve and evolve.
