Position Overview
Reporting into the Manager, Learning & Organizational Development, the Talent Management Consultant falls under the umbrella of the Leader Services function within Learning & Organizational Development. This role is focussed on talent acquisition for the manager level and above inclusive of special projects at that level. The successful candidate will embody the art of the possible by being both agile and creative when faced with ambiguity. This professional will have a high degree of emotional intelligence combined with business savviness to deliver a high quality and almost concierge-like client and candidate experience. They will be able to connect the dots between client requests and how to best deliver for the organization. The successful candidate will be very comfortable leading conversations and making informed recommendations to executive level staff on how they can best achieve their full staffing complement.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Provide agency-level service to our clientele meeting a best-in class time to fill with well-matched candidates
Provide a proactive, high touch experience for our clients all while
Provide input and support to the Leader Services function
Ensure a high standard of practice is applied throughout the recruitment and selection process that complies with legislation (e.g. Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code), HR Policies, applicable collective agreements and HR best practices
As Trillium Health Partners’ brand ambassador, provide end to end service for the whole recruitment process, ensuring a high touch approach with both the client and the candidate
Conduct meaningful intake meetings with the client to ensure that the process is fully articulated and that a solid understanding of the client’s staffing needs are met
Informed by the Talent Management Program, build a sustainable and scalable sourcing plan to address current demand and future growth, including the development of a strategy for sourcing ‘passive’ candidates where internal gaps may exist at the leadership level
Design and implement creative sourcing strategies using a mix of social media and networking to ensure a high quality diverse applicant pool
Provide information on talent demographics and analytics to support future growth decisions
Work closely with a recruitment coordinator to achieve impactful results
Participate in continuous improvement projects and other special projects as assigned
Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as part of a dynamic team of professionals in an ever-changing, fast paced customer focused environment
Actively source and recruit executive level employees
Be able to provide guidance on industry standards when needing to define a new position
Provide briefing notes to executives on hiring decisions, recommendations and new processes
Facilitate meetings, training and coaching
Manage vendor relationships between THP and the client
Fully document processes and make recommendations on process evolution
Support talent discussions in avenues such as the Talent Management Committee
Other duties as assigned
Here’s what you need to have:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment with experience recruiting at the executive level required
Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business, Project Management or Communications
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
A designation as a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) is an asset
The ability to bring an entrepreneurial mentality to all your work

Work Set Up:
We believe in Flex First. While this role is typically located at our Mississauga Hospital site, it is currently being conducted remotely. Travel to all THP sites may be required at different times to support our clinical staff.
