Senior Project Coordinator / Junior Construction Manager
Trillium Projects is currently pursuing a passionate, ambitious, and experienced candidate to fill a Project Coordinator / Junior Construction Manager position in their Vancouver head office.
This role will provide great exposure to the construction line of work, as well as access to senior industry professionals, with the intent of accelerating ones experience and ultimately their career.

Responsibilities
The candidate will work directly with Construction Managers, Site Superintendents, relevant trades, clients, and other real estate professionals. The role will contribute to all activities associated with multi-family construction management.
Core responsibilities for the role include:
· Management of the tender process – preparing scopes of work and tender packages, contacting qualified bidders, managing the tender responses and contributing to the evaluation of bids received;
· Administration of all project documentation including contracts, change orders, shop drawings, site instructions, project drawings, and other general correspondence;
· Regular participation in site, client, project planning and trade meetings;
· Diligent record keeping in order to facilitate smooth information flow; and
· A wide variety of additional tasks associated with construction of large residential developments.
Qualifications
· At a minimum, 3 to 5-years of construction experience is a requirement;
· Previous experience in multi-family woodframe construction is an asset;
· Excellent communication, organization, time management skills, presentation and interpersonal skills;
· Experience in contract administration, contract shop drawing review and relevant document management;
· Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Projects, BlueBeam, MS Excel and Timberline;
· Ability to read technical drawings for the purposes of document control, cataloging and referencing;
· Experience in construction and conceptual estimating/budgeting;
· Understanding and experience in project tendering, project scope reviews and mark-ups and project scheduling;
· Strong working knowledge of local residential/commercial construction practices;
· A high level of personal and professional integrity; an open and approachable team player with a positive attitude.
