The Bedford location of Trim Landscaping is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our accounting department as a Junior Accountant.

Working side by side with our controller, you will be responsible for managing the daily financial and accounting tasks for the business. This is a great opportunity for someone to be mentored and grow their already existing talent as the company continues to grow.

The ideal candidate will hold:*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Or have minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Also considering applicants who are interested in or currently enrolled in CPA program.
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks.
- Experience in Hubdoc considered an asset.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
What does a Junior Accountant do?
- Accounts Payable – working with hubdoc and QBO to review payables, pay vendors, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Accounts Receivable- Applying customer payments, sending out customer statements, and customer account reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation- Reconcile bank accounts and visa accounts by monthly deadlines.
- Payroll- Assist with payroll entry and review.
- Assist Controller with GL Reconciliations
- Assist Controller with preliminary month end review of financial statements.
- Help with preparation of budgets.
- Assist with YE processes and working papers.
- Assist with cost accounting
