Trimark People Solutions is a full-service Fractional HR service business partner offering HR, Staffing, Training and Safety Solutions to our clients across Western Canada.
OPPORTUNITY:
- The successful candidate may be permitted to work in a hybrid model (combination of in-office and flexible work location) and must live within commuting distance of our Surrey / Delta offices.
- Reporting to the Managing Director, the Recruitment Assistant, is responsible for maintaining and managing the Trimark Applicant (Recruitment) database and associated filing systems, supporting the day-to-day work of Recruitment and HR Advisors, including the collection of licensing and work permits, candidate testing paperwork, responding to general inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluates incoming online applications, assign applicants to the HR team, identify candidates for immediate attention and follow through on all established procedures.
- Ensures all candidate files are kept current and accurate. Assists HR team with information from files and creation of new files, as required.
- Maintains and updates vacancy listings on the Trimark People Solutions database and/or website.
- Lead and/or co-lead client onboarding activities, file management and employee records
- Assign onboarding activities via the Learning Management System and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Assist in developing effective and streamlined workflows including the creation of SOPs.
Required Experience:
- Post Secondary diploma in HR, Administration, Business or related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ recent, related experience or a combination of education, training and experience.
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to type at 45 w.p.m., proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with clients from various countries and cultures is critical.
- Must be well organized and able to work under minimal supervision.

- Supporting marketing and social media post creation
- Experience with Learning Management Systems, PowerPoint presentation creation
