True North HR Consulting is currently seeking a client-focused Director, Total Rewards and HRIS Systems, reporting to the Principal & CEO. We are looking for an active learner who understands unique total rewards requirements and thrives in a changing environment.

Wage: $100,000 – $120,000 per annum

You will assist in the development and ongoing evaluation of client reward and recognition, including base and variable pay and other strategic programs. The incumbent will provide support to Talent and Leadership through the analysis and presentation of data on aspects of reward & recognition. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of data in supporting Compensation systems.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Providing top quality service to our clients
Evaluating job descriptions
Participating in compensation surveys
Analyzing survey results and drafting reports to summarize findings
Ensuring compliance with Canadian legislation
Conducting Pay Equity Analysis and Wage Gap recommendations
Assisting in client communication plans for rewards & recognition
Working with client’s project lead and vendor teams to integrate HRIS systems
Leading and/or supporting implementation projects for new system tools or add-ons
Mapping and overseeing the implementation process from start to finish
Providing technical support and training to users on systems
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience with Total Rewards and HRIS systems
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a similar role within an HR consulting business
Ability to collect, analyse and manipulate large amounts of data with impeccable attention to detail
A solid understanding of HR policies and practices
Strong oral and written communication skills that enable you to clearly explain technical and complex issues to our clients
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and high-pressure situations
Possess a “Do What it Takes” attitude to get the job done
Candidates must have the resources required to work from home effectively
Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams) and Zoom
Experience implementing, maintaining, and optimizing HRIS systems, i.e., Workday, Day Force, UKG, Bamboo HR etc.
A mature, self-starter who remains calm under pressure and is comfortable interacting with clients with minimal oversight
Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills are critical
