Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing financial statements, monitoring monthly expenses, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a plus
- CPA certification is a plus
