TryCycle is a proudly Canadian company that creates digital health solutions to bring people together through technology. The company is headquartered in Ottawa, with offices in Toronto and Saskatoon. In 2021, the company developed a new program “Talking Stick” in partnership with the Federation of
Sovereign Indigenous Nations. The Talking Stick app is powered by a network of First Nations peer
advocates, providing support and comfort to anonymous guests. We are hiring Regional Managers to
support the adoption and growth of the program across the province.

Primary Function:
This is an intermediate full-time term position. Regional Managers are responsible for supporting all
aspects of program delivery, program management, communications, and reporting for their designated region of First Nation communities. The Regional Manager will help to build awareness, momentum, and support for the program. We encourage all Indigenous people of Canada to self-identify in their applications.
As the Regional Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and supporting the growth of Talking Stick and other First Nations programs in the province. You will be responsible for providing training and oversight to your assigned team of Indigenous Peer Advocates while ensuring a safe and collaborative work environment for everyone. You will engage in proactive communications with Peer Advocates, directing their day-to-day work, and removing any challenges or obstacles (especially those having to do with safety and service delivery), while ensuring their efforts adhere to the program’s needs.
This role requires frequent travel, including long-distance drives, for in-person meetings, presentations, and community/school visits across the Province. The Regional Manager will build awareness, momentum, and support for Talking Stick and other First Nations programs as required. This is an intermediate-level position that requires a high degree of accountability, ownership, and interpersonal management skills.
