Tutor Doctor Windsor Essex is looking to add some more tutors to our team!
As a tutor for Tutor Doctor you will be able to:
– Set your own schedule
– Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals
– Help students build academic confidence
We are looking for professional and reliable individuals who are comfortable working with secondary school students in multiple subjects, such as English, Math, and Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology). Strong preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with special education students.
Tutoring is a great fit for anyone that is looking for flexible part-time working hours, whether you’re an Ontario Certified Teacher, a supply teacher, a student, a teacher-in-training, or a recent university graduate.
This position will be for in-person tutoring at the student’s home.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (required)
- Experience working with children and youth (preferred)
- Experience working with students with various learning disabilities (preferred)
- Has the ability to confidently teach multiple subjects (preferred)
- Has a G2 or G driver’s license and unrestricted access to a vehicle (preferred)
All candidates must successfully pass a background check and also a Vulnerability Sector screening test.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
