The purpose of the Finance Administrator position is to monitor and coordinate Commission and Accounts Payable activities. Under general supervision, the Finance Administrator is also responsible for providing assistance, advice, and guidance to support the financial needs of students.

Specific Responsibilities

The Finance Administrator is responsible for the following as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the University:

• Comprehend and enforce corporate financial policies and protocols.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills while addressing student queries.
• Establish and maintain active, effective communication channels to foster cohesive working relationships internally and externally.
• Execute processing of agent commission invoices.
• Record accounting entries for performance-related transactions.
• Apply commission payments accurately.
• Conduct reconciliation for accounts payable linked to commissions.
• Support the finance department by providing precise and timely information as needed.
• Collaborate in internal and external audits related to business office operations.
• Participate in various tasks concerning students’ accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary education in a Finance or Accounting program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 experience in a fast-paced office setting, with a preference for roles within Accounting or Finance departments.
