As an integral member of the Fundraising Operations team, you will be responsible for data extractions from various external databases and importing this data into the Foundation’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and providing reconciliation data from the CRM to the Financial System. Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations Data Processing, you will work together to provide an exceptional internal stakeholder and external customer experience by ensuring that data from various sources are captured accurately within the Foundation’s CRM.
Import data files into the Foundation’s CRM from the Foundation’s online fundraising platforms (AKA Raisin and Donor Drive)
Reconcile data in CRM with data in our financial system
Provide GL data and reconciliation reports to the finance team according to scheduled dates
Investigate any discrepancies in our data in a timely manner
Generate required reports to review accuracy and completeness of imports
Update and globally change data on the CRM system as requested by stakeholders
Create and modify fund data and appeal codes on CRM
For new fundraising initiatives, use orchestrations along with Extract, Transform and Load Tools (ETL), such as Bright Vine Data Link loader to map external data files to the proper fields in CRM
Document processes to accurately reflect new processes or changes to current processes related to data integration
Assist with any data maintenance or cleanup in the CRM including updating charity coding
Support and answer inquiries for the fund portal
An undergraduate degree in information systems or related field
3+ years experience in a data administrative role
Experience with Blackbaud CRM, AKA Raisin, and Brightvine Data Link is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) is required
The willingness to grow within the foundation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in fundraising preferred (paid or volunteer)
Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions
Ability to prioritize multiple incoming requests in a professional and timely manner
Experienced and comfortable working with large data sets, data mapping, data manipulation, and making global changes to data.
Able to deal with exceptions or problems encountered during data imports
Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking; excellent organizational skills
