The Corporate Consultant drives continuous quality improvement through the development of new products, supports strategic expansion into new markets, and continued engagement points for existing clients.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Executive Education, the Corporate Consultant is responsible for collaborating on the establishment of program learning objectives based on market and client requirements, participating in the review and selection of qualified faculty members and program facilitators, and working as a team member to ensure curricular continuity throughout an integrated educational program.
Nature of Work: The position involves a high level of energy and creativity, analytical thinking, problem solving, and excellent communications skills to effectively deliver on goals and advance the vision and mission of Executive Education and the Edwards School of Business. The position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume, office with competing demands that require the ability to focus and work under pressure to tight time frames.
The Consultant works in an environment where there is regular change, shifting priorities, and frequent interruptions. The work requires an ability to balance competing deadlines and multiple tasks. The incumbent is expected to build effective professional working relationships within the department, across campus, and in the community. This position will be required to work irregular hours and travel as necessary to support program development and delivery.
The Consultant will keep abreast of leading learning and development best practices, trends, and environmental challenges, and support clients by providing solutions which complement their strategic priorities and direction, are in alignment with values and principles, and are industry leading programs in the province. Given the nature of the job duties, the Consultant must largely work independently and is heavily relied on for their high level and diversity of expertise.
