Description
The Student Residences team at Spaces & Experiences oversees and operates undergraduate and graduate student housing on the St. George campus. Our residences include Chestnut Residence, Oak House, Graduate House, and Knox Residence, as well as Campus One, a residence affiliated with the University. An additional residence is also currently in development. Our residences offer a supportive and dynamic living-learning environment that fosters academic success, personal growth, and lasting connections.
Reporting to the Dean of Residence & Director, Student Life, the Manager, Residence Admissions (MRA) is responsible for overseeing admissions policy and process for all our student residences, ensuring occupancy and revenues are optimized throughout the calendar year. The MRA works collaboratively with other staff to develop marketing and communication strategies and materials to promote interest in living in residence. The incumbent is also responsible for data analysis and reporting for senior management.
The Manager, Residence Admissions is also responsible for hiring, leading, and managing staff to ensure an exceptional experience for students throughout the admissions cycle. The incumbent provides the necessary training and mentorship to ensure departmental standards and procedures are understood and consistently met.
