As Talent Management Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies for a wide range of positions in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Harnessing your exceptional planning and organizational skills, you will also play a supportive role in the design and delivery of health and wellness initiatives, events and resources aimed at supporting our staff. Essential Qualifications:
University degree with a specialization in Human Resources or an equivalent acceptable combination of education and experience
Three years’ experience managing full-cycle recruitment and experience implementing training and development programs and/or workshops, including mentorship programs
Highly successful experience sourcing candidates, including the passive job seeker
Experience writing clear and compelling job postings and effective interview questions
A proven record of accomplishment in developing and managing professional relationships at all levels required
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn
IT savvy, including a facility for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with databases and web-based applications
Professional and polished presenter, with exceptional oral, written communication and active listening skills
Strong attention to detail, organizational and project management skills and the ability to deliver high quality work while managing competing deadlines
Strong relationship management and networking skills
Highly creative, self-directed and a motivated team player
Must have an excellent client service orientation and demonstrate initiative, diplomacy and discretion
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both in a consultative team environment and independently
Ability to interact with senior managers and academic administrators in a manner that generates their attention and respect, facilitates cooperation and achieves consensus
Ability to quickly grasp requirements of collective agreements and recruitment policies and practices of the University of Toronto; highly skilled at providing value-added strategic advice aligned with employment legislation and internal policies and procedures
Ability to manage competing demands, accept feedback, and be adaptable and flexible
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
