Universus Technologies Looking for Translator at Montréal, QC Full Time

JOB OFFER : English to French translator (in-house or freelance)

Our dynamic startup company is looking to complete its team with qualified translators, either in-house or freelance, in preparation for a major contract starting in January 2023.

And since we use tech to automate basic tasks, you will be free to focus 100% on your art: translating content and finding the perfect word every time around.

Your main task will be to translate various materials from English to French for a world-class research centre that contributes to the advancement of our society. The proposed contract has a duration of five years, and the daily workload is estimated at minimum 1500 words. Required credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in translation from a Canadian university
• 5 years of experience working in translation or a related field over the past 10 years
• Knowledge of computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools an asset

• Great proficiency in French writing
• Excellent understanding of the English language
