Must be available to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm, weekends required

Basic Job Requirements
Engage with and understand our customers needs
Educating customers on buying local, seasonality and availability of products
Perform many different tasks during each shift
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes
Stocking shelves and recording inventory
Washing dishes, cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms etc.
Making sure produce displays are well stocked and visually attractive
Sorting garbage, recycling and compost
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Knowledge of, or interest in learning about local agriculture and seasonality of local food
Ability to work as part of a team
Previous retail, barista and/or kitchen experience and up to date Food Safety Certificate considered an asset
Must be able to lift 50lb (boxes of potatoes, bags of corn etc.)
