Job Description Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm
Industry: Chewing Gum Packaging & Distribution
Job Overview:
Upstaff is looking for a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join our chewing gum packaging and distribution team in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating packing machines and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate chewing gum packing machines with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machinery as required.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with other tasks as needed within the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator, preferably with packing machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ambitious, hardworking, and reliable.
