Job Summary

Work towards providing Whistler Blackcomb’s stores with prompt service on all levels to achieve unparalleled customer service. Dealing with product and accompanying paperwork with meticulous attention to detail and procedure. You will be responsible for the receiving, transferring and tracking of all retail/rental products. Works with other members of Whistler/Blackcomb’s team both retail/rental and other to maintain and improve all policies and procedures.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage:  $17.20 / hour

  • “Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20 per hour.” 

  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Duties:

  • Take part in warehouse cleanliness, organization, and recycling

  • Operate the back office inventory control system (training provided)

  • Follow receiving procedures completely and accurately. Accuracy is a non negotiable expectation.

  • Keep records in neat and legible manner

  • Moving and storing of product in its assigned storage location

  • Delivering and logging of all products to and from stores and suppliers

  • Setting up and changing over of stores i.e. summer to winter products

  • Take an active role in small inventory counts and year end inventory counts.

  • Take an active role in loss prevention, both internal and external

  • Fill in stock orders for both Whistler Blackcomb and wholesale store orders with 100% accuracy

  • Take phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner

  • Make store service an extension of customer service

  • Ensure any safety concerns are communicated to the supervisor

  • Willing to share others responsibilities as required such as logging, data entry, delivery etc.

  • Take an active role in warranty customer service as required

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be capable of regularly lifting 30 lbs on a daily basis

  • Retail operations experience an asset

  • BC Drivers License and Drivers Abstract are an asset.

The budgeted range starts at $17.20 – $25. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
