Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) is one of the largest healthcare projects in British Columbia’s history. It is a joint undertaking between Vancouver Coastal Health, the Provincial Health Services Authority, and Providence Health Care to complete a large-scale transformation of clinical practices and systems. This is an exciting initiative that will deliver key benefits for our patients, healthcare providers and health organizations (HO’s).
Reporting to the CST Finance Director, the CST Finance Manager is a hands-on leadership position. The person is responsible for providing relevant and value-added financial planning, analysis, reporting and recommendations to senior management. The CST Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the project by assessing and monitoring risks associated with implementation of program and service delivery changes, supports negotiations with the CST service provider(s), develops and implements new case costing standards, develops policies and procedures, and represents the CST Project on committees and other work groups for financial matters. The CST Finance Manager directly oversees staff and people development. Primary working relationships are with the CST Finance team, Finance leads across the HO’s and Ministry of Health, CST Senior Management Team, Project Management Office (PMO), and the Vendor Manager.
As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status will be required.
