Job Description for: IELTS Instructor (Seasonal)
Who we are: VanWest College has a diverse and rich history of providing English language learning and vocational programs in Canada. The College was established in 1988. We have a diverse range of English learning and language classes in Vancouver and Kelowna.

Must-haves:
Living in the Greater Vancouver area and available to interview in person
Undergraduate degree plus TESL Canada recognized credential.
Experience teaching IELTS
Have taken the IELTS exam and achieved a 7.5+ overall score.
Formal IELTS training is an asset
Experience teaching culturally diverse learners.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
Energy and enthusiasm combined with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a multicultural collaborative team setting.
Experience using e-learning tools like Google Classroom, Forms and Zoom.
