We are a well established and a busy walk in and family doctor’s clinic in the city of Vaughan . We’re looking for a medical receptionist for afternoon shifts during the week and 1-2 Saturdays a month. Ideal candidate should have experience working in a busy walk in/family practice clinic. However, we are willing to train . We’re looking for an individual with a positive attitude who is: –
- Good with computers, EMR knowledge working with OSCAR/ is a plus.
- Receive incoming phone calls on multi-line phone system (we do not believe in auto attendant) and check voicemails.
- Call patients for follow ups after lab results/appointment confirmation from specialists’ office.
- Checking inbound and outbound efaxes and mail
- Assisting physicians with medical procedures, taking BP, vitals, preparing the room with relevant set up for Pap smears and other procedures like annual physicals etc.
- Welcome patients with a smile.
- Work well with the team.
- Can multitask.
