The Senior Data/BI Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of enterprise business intelligence (BI) solutions to Vendasta’s internal stakeholders and enable them to achieve their business goals.

As a Senior Data Analyst at Vendasta, you will ask questions and discover meaningful answers that drive Vendasta’s growth and success.

The impact you’ll have*

• Work closely with leadership teams within Vendor, SMB, Channel Partner Divisions, and other divisions to develop robust research questions and contribute to all steps of the data analysis process, including exploring and cleaning data, modelling, interpreting, and communicating results, and measuring their implementation.
• Be the subject matter expert; develop functional and technical expertise, understand the business needs and provide the right information to the business in the form of reports and dashboards
• Build, maintain & monitor internal dashboards for each department to track productivity, revenue, quality, expenses, efficiency metrics, and more
• Develop SQL queries; acquire, integrate, and distribute data. Develop data models, and deliver BI dashboards using Google Cloud Platform.
• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment; Work closely with the stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver data, metrics, and reports that provide reliable and clear information to enhance their business and improve operational efficiency.
• Must enjoy coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, learn quickly, and be comfortable working independently as well as a team

The value you’ll bring

• 5 years of experience as a BI Developer/Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst
• Strong experience in SQL Programming with strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience Developing BI reports using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker, DataStudio, etc.,
• Manage data – acquisition, integration, and distribution – using technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, Google BigQuery and orchestration tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Dataflow, Airflow, DBT, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple and concurrent tasks.
• Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment and ability to deliver requirements following an iterative & incremental approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to tackle problems quickly and completely.
• Strong communication skills
• Develop and foster a working relationship with team members, other Analysts, Software Developers, Product Managers, Sales, Marketing, and Operations Executives.

Bonus points for:

• Technical Certifications/Expertise in Google BigQuery, Looker, DataStudio, Airflow but not mandatory
