About the job
Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sr TAS), the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for bringing world-class talent all the way through the recruitment funnel and into the organization as a new hire. They work in collaboration with various hiring managers throughout the organization to create, update, and fill new & replacement roles according to the annual hiring plan as it grows and evolves with the company’s changing needs.
The impact you’ll have
Recruitment & Hiring
Partner with Sr TAS and divisional leaders across Vendasta to understand hiring needs on an ongoing basis; establish and maintain recruiting requirements via an evolving Hiring Plan
Manage and facilitate the entire hiring process from job posting through to offer for your requisitions
Create/update and post job requisitions according to divisional needs across various databases and job boards
Process, qualify, and screen all applicants
Arrange and conduct initial culture-fit interviews
Refer qualified candidates through to hiring managers & divisional GMs for subsequent interviews and prepare final offers
Work with accepted candidate to set start date, and coordinate onboarding with involved parties
Employer Branding
Act as a brand ambassador to position Vendasta as an employer of choice, with a focus on sharing our culture to attract talent and grow our applicant pool
Establish relationships within the community, educational institutes, employment agencies, recruiters, and etc. to explore and participate in partnership opportunities—such as career fairs, campus recruiting events, industry events, speaking engagements.
The value you’ll bring
3+ years experience working in recruitment or human resources; preference given to those with a focus on sales hiring
Experience sourcing and engaging talent using LinkedIn and other social media channels
Knowledge of human resources best practices, employment laws and policies
Energetic, tech-savvy, and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of delivering results to enhance the business’ goals
Excellent professional communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with external candidates and stakeholders
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business conditions and shifting priorities
Proven time-management skills, that demonstrate the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines/projects effectively
Successful track record of coaching, creating trust, and maintaining relationships at all levels
