How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Road Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and diagnosing repairs for lift trucks and carousels at customer sites. Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing the overall operational integrity and condition of trucks.
- Identifying defective or worn-out mechanical or electrical parts and executing repair solutions.
- Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing issues and ordering parts following technical manuals.
- Documenting and analyzing breakdowns according to standard procedures.
- Being the frontline contact between our company and the customer, requiring a balance of technical expertise and excellent client communication.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- High school completion or equivalent education proficiency.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent.
- Automotive Certification (310S) or Heavy Duty Technician Certification (421A) is an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools.
- Experience with industrial equipment involving lifting, rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery.
- Ability to interpret and implement technical procedures.
- Solid knowledge of general Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
