Vertex is currently accepting applications for full-time, permanent Junior Human Resource Administrator in Rocky View, Alberta. The successful candidate must have strong communication and writing skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining highly organized in a fast paced, high demand work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post Secondary Education in Human Resources is an asset
• Strong written and oral communication
• Interest in Human Resources in an asset
• Must be strongly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with others in remote offices/work locations
• Ability to multitask effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Filing and organizing of employee files
• Complete data entry of new hire packages
• Generate various reports both routine and ad hoc
• Schedule appointments and interviews
• Book hotels and camp accommodations for working crews
• Collection and maintenance of safety tickets
• Book alcohol and drug tests and ensure they are compliant within client timeframe
• Call and screen potential applicants as needed
• Administrative support for the Human Resources and Safety team
• Maintain ATS and HRIS system for accurate information on candidates and employees
• Establish and maintain effective communication with various departments

LOCATION

• This position will be based out of Rocky View, Alberta.
