About Us: vGIS Inc. is a dynamic and innovative AR/construction tech company. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and strategic Marketing Director with a proven track record in content creation to lead our marketing efforts.

Role Overview: As the Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand’s narrative and driving customer engagement through compelling and impactful content. You will lead a small yet dynamic team to execute and influence our marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience, drive brand awareness, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Execute a content strategy aligned with our brand identity and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of content creators, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and on-brand content across various channels, including website, social media, blog, email, video, and more.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and messaging.
• Oversee the editorial calendar and content production pipeline, ensuring timely delivery and optimization of content for SEO and other relevant performance metrics.
• Organize and manage online and in-person engagements, such as webinars and conferences.
• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovative content initiatives.
• Analyze content performance and user engagement metrics to iterate on strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Must-have: messaging and copywriting – this role involves a lot of content creation and content validation. The candidate must be an ace at creating content (verbiage) for websites, case studies and brochures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
• Must-have: project management – this role involves managing multiple initiatives at once. The candidate must have impeccable time management and project management skills.
• Nice-to-have: construction industry experience (especially in the civil engineering space and with SaaS software for construction).
• Nice-to-have: an eye for graphics, understanding of visual arrangements, colours, video sequences etc., to validate the work of our graphics team.
• 5 years of experience in content creation and 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven success in developing and executing content strategies that have driven engagement, brand awareness, and conversion.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media platforms, and emerging content trends.
• Proficiency in using content management systems, analytics tools, and project management software.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align content initiatives with overarching business goals.
