Victor Energy Looking for Employee Engagement Coordinator at Nisku, Alberta, Canada Full Time

Reporting to the Employee Engagement Manager, the role of the Employee Engagement Coordinator is to provide transactional EE support to the EE Manager. This role supports with, but is not limited to, the development and implementation of policy, recruitment, on-boarding, training, benefits, health and safety and other areas as directed. Other duties involve maintaining accuracy, supporting employee work visas, up-to-date EE filing systems and personnel records and drafting reports. The role is consistently evolving and will require adaptation to ongoing ad-hoc responsibilities. This opportunity will provide valuable insight into the multi-faceted areas within the Human Resources discipline.

Requirements

Transactional EE Support:

• Assist the EE Manager in fulfilling EE-related requests in a timely manner, including research, documentation development, record keeping, and follow-up
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate personnel records, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address missing or outstanding employee information or documentation, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements
• Support employees in updating their records, including personal information, dependents, contact details, and direct deposit information
• Onboarding and Recruiting Assistance
• Assist with recruiting needs as required
• Communication and Policy Development
• Record-Keeping and File Management

Group Benefit Administration

• Manage the administration of group benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
• Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and requests
• Complete paperwork and follow-up on disability claims and compliance-related requirements

Performance Management Support:

• Collaborate with EE Manager and department managers to ensure adherence to performance management guidelines and timelines

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role preferably in Human Resources M is required
• Must have high level typing skills, and high degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
• Knowledge of office administrative procedures a strong asset
• Understanding of general Human Resources and recruitment practices preferred
• Ability of recognize confidential information and always maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field
