We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Associate to join our team. As the Supply Chain Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities as well as sourcing and purchasing activities. This role reports to the Director of Operations. Our headquarter office is located in New York City. This is a full-time role open to all candidates in the U.S.
What you’ll do:
Scheduling and Coordinating both Domestic and International Freight transactions
Manages tasks and documentation related to import, export, and domestic logistics.
Maintaining Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers and sales team upon request
Assist in Tracking, Maintaining, and Updating Inventory at multiple warehouses
Ensuring compliance with shipping specifications and customer routing guides and vendor manuals
Monitoring and tracking production orders, receiving ETA’s and ensuring they are shipping on time.
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Assist in creating and maintaining good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Creates and issues vendor purchase orders through our ERP system.
Assists sales team with order status inquiries and special customer needs.
What you have:
3-6 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, shipping, and procurement
Exceptional project management skills. Able to seamlessly track many follow-up items; persistent and relentless at following up where needed
The ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities
Highly proficient in Excel
Exudes a “no task is too big or too small” attitude, with initiative, commitment, reliability, and positivity. Does not accept mediocrity
Versatile, embraces change, and is consistently able to develop and adapt to the needs of the business
Grasps new concepts quickly, prioritizes efficiently, and is very organized
Exceptional customer service skills along with transparent and effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
