About the position and skills required….
Our ideal candidate is willing to be trained in the discipline of fire protection sprinkler design and contracting.
Working with HydroCad suite software, fire sprinkler systems are engineered and calculated to meet current codes and standards. This position also includes material procurements/listing and project management.
There are many specialized and specific application types of fire protection systems that will provide many challenges for the candidate.
Our ideal candidate will have exposure/experience with the following:
- Knowledge of building construction, both architectural and mechanical
Drafting/blueprint capabilities
- A working ability in AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic/self-starter
- Works well both as part of a team and alone
- Working computer skills in Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
- NFPA/OBC Building code knowledge is an asset
