Virtual High School Looking for Summer Student – Administration at Bayfield, ON Full Time

Virtual High School is looking for a post-secondary student to join our Administration team full time from May to August. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting our School Administration Department in a fast-paced team setting during our busiest time of year.

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for a variety of different tasks as part of our exceptional Administration team, providing administrative support to our students, teachers and parents.

Tasks may include: assisting with report card administration, filing student data, helping with final exam administration, assisting with student registrations and unenrolments, sending and receiving documentation, customer service, and other administrative tasks as required.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Completed or in the process of completing post-secondary education

The Location: This position requires the successful candidate to work at the VHS office in Bayfield.

VHS is located in Bayfield, Ontario, a picturesque heritage village along the eastern shore of Lake Huron. Bayfield offers scenic views and natural beauty, in addition to beautiful beaches and the Bayfield River. With gourmet dining, art galleries, and shops along historic Main Street, VHS is in the middle of a village with cultural appeal and charm.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $15.00-$30.00 per hour
