JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Quality and Patient Safety, the incumbent works closely with the department’s manager and service advisors. The incumbent supports the Network’s accreditation activities to obtain and maintain its accreditation status. The incumbent participates in coordinating activities related to the accreditation process and survey and works closely with the Quality and Patient Safety team to support teams in meeting standards and required organizational practices. The incumbent also offers support related to their various duties/files and participates in developing work tools, managing databases and developing regional reports. The incumbent also participates in implementing various projects or initiatives related to quality and patient safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate diploma in the health care field or any combination of equivalent training and experience;
Secondary school diploma and office management diploma of between one and two years in length or any equivalent combination of training and experience;
Undergraduate degree in the health field would be an asset;
Specific training in quality management or patient safety would be an asset.
Three years’ experience in the health field or a hospital setting;
Strong ability to organize;
Ability to manage priorities while working to deadlines;
Dynamic, committed to results and best practices;
Very good knowledge of computer tools (e.g. advanced Excel) and office automation applications and ability to use;
Flexible and creative in performing duties;
Client-focused and excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Expresses ideas clearly and respects different points of view;
Research methodology and report production/analysis skills ;
Ability to work independently and as a team member;
Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
