Purpose:
Vitrum Glass and sister companies (Apex Aluminum Extrusions & Lorval Developments) is looking for a senior level HR Director to lead the HR function across its companies. The HR Director provides high level support and strategic analysis to the leaders in our organizations.

Duties Include:
Provide support to leadership of Vitrum Glass, Apex Aluminum Extrusions, and Lorval Developments.
Successful Development of HR Staff, creating a pipeline of talent within the department.
Create an advantage of talent management with increased bench strength across departments.
Improve the Company Culture to being the Employer of Choice within the Langley Market.
Provide analytical HR visibility with metrics to Leadership team across organizations.
Manage the success of all human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and on-boarding to support the growth of all three companies.
Work alongside external coaches to develop and achieve company objectives.
Provide HR KPI Data to Leaders on a monthly basis.
Support the HR Team where needed.
Walk the Production Floor daily and meet employees.
Oversee the Temporary Foreign Workers program.
Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.

Requirements:
HR Designation or Degree, CPHR designation is preferred
Previous Experience as an HR Manager within a Manufacturing Environment (Minimum 3 years)
Experience leading a team
Glass Industry Experience is considered an asset
Experience with Predictive Index and DISC is considered an asset
