Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Superintendent. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction of one or more projects in Burnaby, BC. The Site Superintendent will ensure that the project is completed on-time, on-budget, and within scope. The Site Superintendent will manage the construction crew, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Construction, engineering, or related degree or technical certification is preferred
• Experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role
• Experience managing construction projects from start to finish
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a construction team
• Experience with scheduling software and project management tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Familiarity with Burnaby, BC and the Greater Vancouver Region
• Ability to communicate in other languages is a plus
