We need an amazing Director of Customer Success to help ensure operational excellence as we grow relationships with existing customers, and rapidly scale. If you have experience building the strategy and processes to support stellar customer onboarding and management and implementing with a high-performance team excited to learn and grow, you’re what we’re looking for! Ideally, you love the outdoors, are willing to travel, and have a high technical aptitude.

What we’re looking for

To help manage the rapid growth of our customer base and ensure operational excellence and continued customer happiness, we are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Director of Customer Success to develop field operations and customer success strategies, manage the day-to-day of the Field Operations Team and communicate customer needs to the engineering and product teams.

  • The ability to overcome operational obstacles related to weather, geographies, and employees. hardware and software developments, with common sense and an understanding of execution.
  • Accountable and able to work in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
  • Comfortable with change and quick actions needed when necessary.
  • You will be expected to learn all the technical aspects of our sensor system and be able to solve problems reliably and effectively in all field situations.
  • An excellent communicator and listener able to effectively communicate and convey critical information to customers and internal teams.
  • Results-driven with a focus on defining, achieving and managing departmental OKRs.
  • Identifying, training and developing leaders within the company and setting them on a path for management.
  • Customer-first focus.
  • Solid understanding of technology and willingness to learn, including reporting and analytics.
  • Degree in agriculture and/or engineering an asset.
  • Experience managing a team and customers in person and remotely.
  • Passion and a willingness to step into other leadership roles as the company grows and evolves.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Enjoy spending time outdoors.


What you will be doing:

  • Building and managing the Vivid Field Services Team.
  • Working closely with Customers to quickly resolve issues, identify opportunities, and ensure an amazing customer experience.
  • Orchestrating the Field Services Team to ensure support across geographies and seasons.
  • In season, working directly in Clients’ orchards supervising field reps, managing equipment, in-field support, and overseeing the quality of customer data.
  • Creating and implementing OKRs for the Field Services Team in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Working with the product team to ensure a customer focus in product development.
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering team to refine SLAs, ticketing, and customer support processes.
  • Ensure Field Service processes that prioritize clean and efficient data collection.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Some travel required


Bonus points

  • Experience with IoT devices and SaaS services,
  • Have some experience related to agriculture,
  • Experience operating and tinkering with machines.
