Our top priorities are supporting the recruiting function within Talent Acquisition with talent readiness, market insights and candidate engagement, and we are searching for someone who understands the challenges we face daily in hiring top talent. In this role we will teach you how to source, engage and recruit talent in a highly competitive market. You will be the primary contact responsible for the delivery and execution of our candidate engagement program. You also will manage a high volume of prospective candidates that have expressed interest in our University Talent Programs and help them not to fall into the dreaded ‘job application black hole’.

What will you do on a daily basis?
Build relationships with individuals and pools of talent in support of current and future hiring needs
Conduct compact, focused candidate screens over phone and Zoom
Share relevant candidate to internal stakeholders for review
Manage a high volume of outbound calls (30-50/week)
Develop relationships with internal team to understand their hiring needs and requirements
Partner with our Sr. Sourcing Specialists and execute new initiatives to source, attract and build under-represented talent pipelines
Perform ‘on demand’ talent pool research and data analysis designed to meet requested business requirements
Maintain accurate and detailed capture of candidate data and sourcing metrics for the analysis and utilization
What we are looking for:
Deep passion, understanding, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with metrics, numbers and trends
Previous research/sourcing experience, preferably within a corporate environment
Enjoys working in an international environment
1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Sales or Customer Service
Post-Secondary Degree/Certificate preferred (Human Resources or Business Management)

The hiring manager for this role is Stuart Taylor, who leads a team of Talent Discovery Partners that covers Customer Operations, Business Operations, and Professional Services. Stuart leads a tenured team of specialists at VMware, and strongly believes that every member of the team has something unique to contribute to the role, the group, and VMware.
The team is distributed throughout the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica, and follows an open, dynamic work culture that encourages team collaboration, coaching through open communication, and growth and development in a fun and courteous environment.
