Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi and Volkswagen Dealers to support expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations.
Role Summary
The Senior Manager, Human Resources will lead the full lifecycle of HR processes for the VW Credit Canada, Inc (VCCI). This includes, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performant Management, Training and Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Change Management and Policy Administration. This position also serves as an adviser to VCCI executives on strategic HR matters, Organization Design and Transformation Initiatives. This leader will manage a team of HR consultants based in Ontario and Quebec.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the HR function for VW Credit Canada, Inc (VCCI). This entails creating and executing on a multi-year HR strategy; managing strategic workforce and organization initiatives; partnering with the VCCI executive team on business objectives; building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in Volkswagen Group Canada, VW Credit, Inc, and Volkswagen Group of America (US); as well as colleagues in Financial Services AG (Germany) and within the North American Region.
Lead organization development and strategic talent management activities. This includes, designing, directing, and managing company-wide processes for succession planning, talent management, workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management
Lead Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, payroll) to include establishing and maintaining company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay programs within the company including bonuses and raises. Leads competitive market research to establish pay practices that help to recruit and retain superior staff
Lead and develop a Human Resources team, to include hiring, establishing goals/objectives and key performance indicators, performance coaching and development.
Keep current with developments in employment law and advise VCCI Management team and NAR HR team of any changes. Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with country and province legal obligations.
Formal education
Bachelor’s degree
Experience
10 years in HR roles of increasing responsibility
Preferred:
10+ years in HR management
5 years of experience in team management

Must be well-versed in Ontario and Quebec Employment Law

Work schedule
Flexible to work outside of working hours for international meetings when needed.
Availability for occasional travel, as per business requirements (20%)
