Position Description
The following position within Volvo Financial Services (“VFS”) reports to the Manager – Asset Management.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
This position will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to VFS’s Canadian Truck, Construction, and Coach Portfolios, supporting VFS’s mission, goals, and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quickly and accurately respond to all incoming Customer Service calls and emails in Customer Service inbox, and follow through with the appropriate cross-functional areas when necessary to deliver exceptional Customer Service to all Customers/Dealers, including but not limited to the following functions:
Process inquiry requests for Amortization Schedules, Principal, and Interest, Taxes Paid, Balance Owing, and Account Summaries
Prepare & process all buyout/payout calculation requests to conclusion, per established VFS Directives
Send all documentation as required to ensure all lien releases have been completed with accuracy
Provide & process documentation & requests from regional transportation regulatory bodies (power of attorney, plating letters, duplicate ownership request, violations, searches, etc.)
Investigate & resolve billing & contract discrepancies, including required refunds
Process all PAP maintenance on all current accounts (changes, special arrangements, removals, etc.)
Process credit inquiry requests in conjunction with Credit
Prepare & complete all insurance administration requests, including completion of disability insurance forms & processing of insurance cancellations/refunds
Process all required GST/PST/QST/HST changes.
Request PPSA amendments related to province and legal name changes as per PPSA Policy.
Assist in the administration of End of Term accounts.
Assist in reporting quantifiable metrics to measure success and identify improvement areas in the Customer Service cycle.
Responsible for to handle request from the Customer Service Portal.
Process other customer related tasks assigned by the manager
EDUCATION:
BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years Customer Service experience in the finance industry, preferably with some transportation knowledge.
SKILLS:
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity with a positive customer and quality focus.
Good computer skills with competencies in MS Office.
Bilingual (French/English) skills are an asset.
