Voyageur Transportation Services Looking for Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant – Niagara Region at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

Your Profile

You must possess the following qualifications:

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• You have a Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)
• You possess a valid G class driving license
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
• You are able to work 12hr day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
