VSA Art+Design Studio Inc. Looking for Studio Associate – Front Desk at Vancouver, BC Full Time

VSA Art+Design Studio is a local art and design educational organization dedicated to offering quality art programs and services to the public and individuals. We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team. If you are an organized and responsible team player who loves to work in the office and enjoys a fast-paced creative environment, we would like to hear from you.

Job Types: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Receive visitors and deal with inquires on the telephone, email and in person;

• Monitor students and employees check-in & check-out;

• Assist in the inventory of art materials, and record the storage of art materials

• Fee collection, bookkeeping & data entry;

• Communicate with parents and instructors;

• Assist and support the instructor in the delivery of course curriculum and art programs;

• Assist with web, newsletter, marketing promotion for social media;

• Support the team with deliver of the projects, workshops and special events when required;

• Organize and cleaning the classroom as well as the office;

• Perform other duties as required by the studio.

Qualifications:

• MUST have oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin;

• Experience in a front desk/administration position is preferred;

• Proficiency with computer software including MS Office, Adobe Creative is an asset;

• Effective organizational skills and multi-tasking skills;

• Ability to follow directions, work with a sense of urgency and energy;

• Available to work evenings and Saturday;

• Interest in the arts and in developing community connections through the arts;

• Patience working with children;

• A valid BC driver’ license is an asset but not required

Working Schedule: Mon. – Sat.

Salary Range: TBD (Based on experience)

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
