Title: Talent Acquisition Consultant
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: 9AM to 6PM
Job Type: – The role will be mostly remote. Only in the cases where Company has some type of event to attend, which are not often, the incumbent would be requested to go in-person (depending on pandemic restrictions)
Pay rate: – $35/hr.
Job Summary: –
The Specialist Campus Talent Acquisition executes on the defined campus strategy to hire the best possible talent for us. The incumbent is responsible for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on campus talent acquisition needs. They will also partner with the broader Talent Acquisition team to create a future talent pipeline for permanent roles within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
• Partners closely with the AD, Talent Acquisition to review post-secondary school tiers to ensure they are the most optimal partnerships for Companies talent needs.
• Enhances the Companies brand reputation at selected universities and colleges ensuring the company is positioned as top choice placement opportunity amongst target student groups.
• Plans, arranges, and attends campus recruitment events and presentations at selected universities and colleges for large student audiences, achieving year round presence with a key focus on recruitment.
• Designs and hosts presentations to student clubs and societies, both on campus virtually and/or in our offices, acting as an ambassador, articulating our corporate culture, goals and student opportunities.
• Acts as main point of contact for career centers and faculty, prospective students, clubs and associations, as well as campus recruitment referrals from existing staff. Develops strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Manages the partnership with BioTalent for Comapnies Student Work Placement program and ensures a smooth and efficient process to process all student files in a timely manner. Partners closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure all program requirements are met.
• Oversees the entire campus selection process through the defined Campus strategy including
• Creates, analyzes, and manages the quarterly Campus dashboard to identify trends and make recommendations to enhance the program.
• Networks within the marketplace to understand the competitive landscape and compensation and makes recommendations to enhance the program where necessary.
• Partners closely with the Talent Acquisition team to successfully place new talent into permanent positions wherever possible. Perform all work in accordance with all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements.
• Collaborate and support team members on policies, processes, practices, etc.

• Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
Talent Branding:
• In partnership with the AD, Talent Acquisition, create Talent Brand with defined EVP by building and maintaining social media platforms. Plans and oversees social media activities for TA in partnership with the Global Corporate Affairs team.
• Manages the relationship with Wepow (video interviewing platform) and acts as the SME for the tool in supporting the TA team to fully leverage the tool.
Education : –
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline. • CHRL designation or working towards completion preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : –
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively as a member of a team to achieve expected outcomes.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS.
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast- paced environment.
• Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to respectfully and tactfully interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Experience
• 3 – 5 years’ work experience as a Recruiter, including behavioral interviewing techniques
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
