About the Position:
In the role of a Project Engineer, your primary focus will be to collaborate with the VP of Civil Engineering and the wider team to ensure the successful delivery of projects to our clients within the land development and municipal sectors. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the team’s business development and marketing efforts. Our hybrid work model allows for a blend of office and remote workdays each week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the VP of Civil Engineering, project managers, engineers, and technologists to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget across various land development and municipal projects.
- Manage and provide support for projects.
- Engage in the design of diverse land development and municipal projects.
- Thoroughly review technical drawings, details, and specifications to maintain quality and oversight.
- Oversee and guide junior engineers and technologists.
- Contribute to proposal preparation.
- Cultivate partnerships and relationships with other firms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in civil engineering, particularly in the fields of land development and municipal projects.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
- Experience in Stormwater Management design is considered an asset.
- Strong skills in presentation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal relations.
- Exceptional technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
