Position: Project based-temporary (approximately 12 weeks) / full-time / local resident or camp / FIFO – Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB
Work Schedule: 24 on and 4 off, 14 on and 7 off, or 6 on and 1 off / 10-12 hours per day

Job Purpose
The Construction Time Administrator is primarily responsible for ensuring timesheets are entered and LEMs are created in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Displays a commitment to Waiward’s incident-free vision, values, and culture.
Enters labour hours for construction employees daily.
Enters equipment hours for construction sites daily.
Inputs travel and subsistence amounts into Steelworks for payment to employees and inclusion on LEMs.
Completes reconciliation of labour and equipment hours.
Creates LEMs for each active job daily including any relevant back up information (invoices, etc.).
Reviews LEMs to ensure accuracy for labour, equipment, and travel.
Provides created LEMs with required backup to project management for review and submission to client for approval.
Updates LEM status upon receiving signed LEMs back from project management.
Completes corrective entries for time entry and/or LEMs if changes are required.
Works with the Cost Controls group on any discrepancies or missing items related to LEMs.
Ensures signed LEMs are saved with all related backup in project folder.
Provides additional administrative support with respect to onboarding and supporting other sites.
Works closely with Project Accounting Supervisor on any other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
On site experience in the construction industry is an asset
Minimum of CSTS-09/2020 and OSSA Regional/BSO/CSO certifications are required.
Must complete a pre-access Alcohol and Drug test prior to accessing site.
Class 5 Driver’s Licence and a clear and current driver’s abstract are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize a large workload while displaying an excellent attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
The incumbent is required to work in an office environment on site with little to moderate noise and small spaces. This position requires individuals to stay in camp, and travel to and from multiple sites on a short-term basis.
Physical Requirements
The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time; and extensive reading. The incumbent is also required to sit for extended periods of time and communicate with construction employees regularly.
