Job description
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in other project coordination requirements as needed
- Assist Project Manager
- Assemble work binders (including but not limited to work orders, safety documentation, construction speculations, CCO’s, quality control check sheets, etc.)
- Complete basic take-offs as per tender documents
- Evaluate proposals received from distributors and sub-trades
- Examine tender documents to ensure consistency throughout drawings versus specifications versus scope to determine quality of engineering
- Attend site meetings
- Download and print drawings and specifications
- Update cost summary to reflect actual versus estimated
- Other duties as required
Skills/Qualifications include:
- Electrical College Technician or Technology Diploma
- 3-5 years experience
- Knowledge of applicable electrical code
- Strong industrial and commercial electrical installation experience
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong numerical ability and planning skills
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong time management skills
- Strong PC skills in MS Office (Microsoft Project considered an asset)
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $74,880.00-$83,200.00 per year
