We are looking for a Compost Labourer at our Walker Compost Facility-Arthur location.
Main Responsibilities:
Cleaning of building floor surfaces and equipment components.
Litter collection both on site and off, and performing snow removal tasks.
Providing assistance with equipment fueling and assisting with the operation of the Gore Cover Compost System removal.
Assisting scalehouse staff with materials receiving, and placement of the covers and component cleaning.
Any experience in agriculture, construction, or outdoor labour is an asset. We will provide all necessary training and safety equipment, and for the right person, plenty of opportunity for career growth and movement within the company.
We run three shifts:
Morning – Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Afternoons – Monday to Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Weekends – Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The starting rate for this position is $21.00/hour.
