We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team in Halifax. In this role, you will assist with the efficient handling, storing, and shipping of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining a safe workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
