As a Warehouse Worker at Sphirea Plus, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. You will ensure that the warehouse is always organized, and products are accurately tracked and managed. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that all products are accounted for and in good condition.
- Safely load and unload trucks, and move goods to the appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and updating records.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring they are ready for timely dispatch.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if certified) to transport goods.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including labelling, sorting, and maintaining proper documentation.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience with inventory management systems is an asset.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
