Webull Securities (Canada) Ltd will provide a mobile first investing platform for retails investors. We are looking for a talented financial service professional in the Toronto area to be part of our growing team. Webull Securities (Canada) is in the latter stages of obtaining CIRO membership.

Responsibilities

• Lead set-up of operational processes in collaboration with established US team.
• objectively analyze established processes, identify root causes of failures, and identify opportunities to improve and streamline.
• Manage relationships with local partners (issue resolution, enhancements) in collaboration with US functional leaders.

Skills and Experiences

• Expert working knowledge of Canadian operations, markets and trading landscape.
• Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the processes, procedures, systems, markets, and instruments (equities and options)
• Be familiar with technical and operational workflows.
• Possess leadership skills and the ability to build and manage an effective team
• Highly organized and able to wear multiple hats for a fast-growing start-up
• Superior relationship skills with vendors, clearing venues/exchanges, clearing agent, banks and end customers.
• Ability to think and operate strategically, conceptually, analytically and applying good judgement in develop of solutions to key business issues. Able to balance and effectively prioritize multiple diverse challenges and conflicting responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance
• Prior Fintech experience
• 7-10+ years of experience in relevant field.
• CSC, CPH, IDSC courses required: PDO & other CSI courses an asset.
• Experience with trading and back-office systems
• Prior production experience working at a retail broker dealer.
• Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills.
• Strong sense of urgency when it comes to support resolution.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
