About the Role

WeCommerce is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support FP&A activities including financial forecasting, budgeting and planning and preparing management reporting and analysis. The role will be a business partner to our portfolio companies and work closely with the CEOs and their finance leads.

Responsibilities

• Support financial forecasting / planning across the WeCommerce portfolio – ensuring processes are in place so necessary information flows to head office on a timely basis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting as well as executive board materials
• Develop deep business knowledge and ability to distill key business drivers for KPI definition and development of forecasting logic and assumptions
• Conduct analysis between actuals, forecasts and budgets to understand variances and guide adjustments to forecasting assumptions
• Create various financial and operational models to understand different scenarios and inform management for decision making
• Partner across business units to influence cost savings, efficiencies and process improvements
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial reporting
• Evaluate and implement systems, as required
• Perform other strategic ad hoc financial / research projects, as required

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Vena for FP&A including creating reports / templates, implementing / managing processes and maintaining models is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Finance; CPA (or pursuing) preferred
• 3+ years finance experience; corporate finance and/or FP&A experience is preferred
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
• Comfortable synthesizing large, separate data sets for use in FP&A functions
• Deep understanding of the three financial statements
