REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE
(CASUAL)
Two (2) casual Registered Practical Nurse positions are available at the Palmerston & District Hospital site of North Wellington Health Care.
This position is unionized with OPSEU Local 226.
Qualifications:
Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
BCLS Certification
Medication Administration Course
Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
Demonstrated lifelong learner
Team player
Satisfactory performance and attendance required
Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
Hours of Work:
On an as needed basis, as per department schedule
Salary: $27.29 – $28.56 per hour
